In the early 21st century, four friends, four oldschool addicts, decided to create
the SKANKIN SOCIETY SOUND SYSTEM, to make the voice of our people heard far and wide

The spirit of the crew is influenced by the history of Jamaican soundsystem and Funk music of Philadelphia.

The decision to have our own soundsystem grew up naturally.
We started collecting tunes, amps, tape recorders found on the streets, building some random speakers.

Our message is to bring everybody inna dance, no matter the color of your skin, your religion or your grade in Babylon, spreading JahLove, Peace Respect and Harmony.

Since 2002 the SKANKIN SOCIETY SOUND SYSTEM is providing real street entertainment and nightlife party.
